Join us for a fun and functional sewing session where you’ll create your very own quilted zipper pouch—perfect for holding sewing notions, cosmetics, or everyday essentials. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to piece a simple quilted exterior, install a zipper with confidence, and add a lining for a professional finish.
What You’ll Learn:
• Basic quilting techniques for small projects
• How to apply fusible batting
• Zipper installation made easy
• Bag construction and finishing tips
Included:
• Step-by-step instruction
• Printed pattern to take home
• Use of classroom tools (rotary cutters, mats, irons, etc.)
Bring:
• 3 coordinating fat quarters
• 14” or longer zipper
• Basic sewing supplies (scissors, pins, thread)
• Sewing machine (or reserve one of ours for $10)
